How do free credits and paid credits work?
A full lyric generation costs 2 credits. You can start free, then add more credits only when you need them.
Should I choose a subscription or a one-time credit pack?
Choose a subscription if you write songs regularly. Basic starts at $7.90/month with 100 credits, enough for about 50 full lyrics. Choose a one-time pack if you only need extra credits now and then. Available packs include Starter pack (40 credits, about 20 full lyrics, $4), Plus pack (120 credits, about 60 full lyrics, $10), Creator pack (400 credits, about 200 full lyrics, $25).
What is the difference between monthly and yearly billing?
Monthly plans renew every month and subscription credits are valid for 30 days. Yearly plans are paid once for 12 months, include the corresponding yearly credits, and can save up to 30%.
Do credits expire?
Subscription credits are valid for 30 days. One-time credit packs are valid for 365 days. You can always check your available, used, and frozen credits from your account.
Can I cancel or change my subscription?
Yes. After signing in, you can manage your plan from the Stripe customer portal. If you cancel, future renewals stop at the end of the current billing period. Credits already added to your account keep their original expiration.
What if a payment fails, I am charged twice, or I need an invoice?
Payments and invoices are handled by Stripe. If checkout fails, you are usually not charged. For duplicate charges, invoice questions, or subscription status issues, email support@songlyricslab.com with your account email and payment time.
